Thank you for any advice
I was called a few days ago and offered a cancellation appointment- happy to take to get ot done - still gave me enough days to prep up. They said as its review it will be 45 mins, have list of your meds ready.
So it happened Thursday, on time. Lovely and patient, they were kind, but as usual we will wait and see. However I would say this was my first review. When I got pip initially it was a home visit 1 hour 30, this 'review' was 2 hours and was exactly like applying for pip from the beginning again!
Is this everyone's review experience? 🤔
It happened Thursday, they said I will hear between 2-6 weeks. As it's a review can I call for the notes? I forget what it's called, I've not had any texts or anything.

No two assessments are the same, and time varies, some members report assessments taking 20 minutes others like yourself 2 + hrs.
You need to request a copy of the assessors report called a PA4, you can request a copy 48 hrs after the assessment.
Once you get the report go through it with a highlighter highlighting any inaccuracies.
There is a small window for you to write to the Decision Maker pointing out the errors, but you will need to be quick.
Understand that the assessor is offering an opinion when they say that you can do the PIP activities, tackling these head-on is unlikely to be successful, you need to show that the basis of that opinion is founded on incorrect information, so try and refer to your evidence to undermine what they have said.
Also, try and stick to issues that lead to your scoring points, I often hear members referring to the assessors spelling, as an example, whilst it may show a lack of professionalism, raising it as an issue isn't going to help you get an award.
Lastly, make sure that you understand the criteria that you are being assessed against you can put the best case forward that is possible but you won't score points if you do not meet the PIP Descriptors.
Make sure that your letter makes it clear that you are not requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration but you reserve the right to do so once a Decision has been made.
