I know that PIP award reviews are taking a long time. What would happen if a PIP award was due to end but the PIP review had not been decided. I have read that in that situation DWP would give a automatic extension - up to 12 months. I think its 35 days before the award ends. Can you confirm that this is the case?

It should be extended, but if it was close to the end of my claim, I would contact the DWP and confirm that this is going to happen.
