Hello, Very frightened. Have had a letter today from npower telling me to go to the post office to collect my £140 warm home discount. But i've already had it credited to my dual fuel account with my former provider.( I cancelled npower in August after only 2 months as they made so many mistakes & were useless). I'm not well enough to go to the post office anyway. If I write to npower again confirming that my account is closed will that be enough? The letter says if you don't collect the money within 6 months you'll loose it. I'm so scared that DWP will seize on the opportunity to hound me for fraud. Can't carry on living with this level of fear.
