one further related query if I may, how would this change impact my housing benefit? worried about getting into some debt while the changeover goes ahead. thanks for all your advice too, much appreciated :)

So as I have said you will lose one Premium but remain eligible for the other two as part of any ESA payment.

Your HB should not be effected as long as you remain eligible for an Income Related benefit.
