I telephoned the DWP for a MR and was told it was in place then when I put in new claim an angry adviser rang and said I should have asked for an MR. He said he would do it and he had enough info and if I confirmed it in writing it could be detrimental to the outcome.
Do I confirm it in writing? I feel every time I rang DWP told fibs for example a letter has been sent and there is no letter and then that is confirmed by them or wait for an explanation because an MR might not be needed.
Can I get an extension on filling in the form?
