Hi All,
Just wondering how many people get an award without a face to face. My pip form was very detailed with letters from hospital specialist and doctor confirming my condition and lack of mobility.

Hi RS,
Currently, the vast majority of our members are having to take part in a PIP face to face !
However, that doesn't mean that you will, if you have provided enough evidence for them to make a paper based assessment.
Most members who are having to take part in a face to face are receiving an appointment within a fortnight or so of returning their PIP 2 Form.
Please keep us updated.

Hi
I recently raised a Topic related to this question. I sent off my PIP2 5 weeks ago and like you RS I got curious and had a friend call them on Fri last. Like you I sent plenty detailed additional evidence but was expecting a face to face letter within weeks, but was told on Fri they had all the info they needed and my claim was now with the Case Manager and I'd be informed within 2 weeks of the outcome.
What I understand from this response is that I will not now need a face to face and can only hope that I will get some kind of award as it can also mean I get none at all. But given the extra evidence I sent I'd be very surprised if Atos hadn't at least considered a face to face so I'm leaning towards a possible positive result.

Hi RS & Johnny, Apart from content of your queries, can I ask if either of you received any notification that your PIP2 had been received-either by letter/text etc?
Like both of you, great deal of medical evidence sent accompanying PIP2 which maybe more than doubled (altogether) pages of PIP2 alone as extra sheets also added!
Thanks and Good Luck.
