PIP centre distance

This is just commentary really. Might be useful. ATOS PIP.

I first made a PIP claim in 2013 and they sent me to a centre many, many miles away in Liverpool. Partially my fault as I took a 'short notice' appointment. Long story and not for here.

I have now been called for reassessment. I very clearly stated that I needed the nearest centre which is 6 miles away. I cannot breathe wholly by myself and I can't even get a straight answer re me using their electric sockets for my 'stuff'.

In the meantime my husband has filled in his form and didn't state a centre at all and was given the nearest one and had it there no problem.

Have received my appointment letter yesterday and guess what...Its in Wales. We are in South East Cheshire. I think the forum can conclude from my and others experience this is now being done deliberately and spitefully.

This has been happening quite a lot !

Travelling time to and from the Assessment is not supposed to exceed 90 minutes either way using Public Transport.
