DLA TO PIP PAYMENTS?

There is some confusion over the last DLA payment that we have been unable to resolve, my understanding is that DLA is paid four weeks in arrears, however, I have seen it said that it is three weeks in arrears and one in advance, we've been unable to confirm either of these but the latter seems to fit the scenarios reported by other members.

So, your DLA continues in payment for four weeks after the Decision on your PIP is made, this will always result in a further payment during that four week period but whether it is a full payment or a partial one will depend on your normal payment date. There will then be a four week gap to your first PIP payment, so eight weeks after the Decision date you should receive your first PIP payment.
