Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

It is possible that you will not be re-assessed in April of next year, there are still considerable delays in the ESA process and many members have had their re-assessments deferred for two years. If you phone the DWP call centre they can usually give you some idea of what is going on although and decision to defer may not actually be made until closer to your current re-assessment date.

ESA: 0345 608 8545 Press Option 3 for ESA. (Open 8AM-6PM. Mon-Fri.)

Either way, you ESA will remain in payment at the current rate until a new Decision is made on your claim, whether that is at the beginning of next year or some time later.

As to the Tribunal.

You don't say why you are appealing, lower award than expected or no award at all, so it is difficult to give detailed advice?

Your primary goal at the appeal is to show that you meet criteria for the award that you believe you qualify for, so I would start by having a look at our PIP Claim guide to make sure that you have a detailed understanding of what the criteria are and how to explain your limitations in relation to each Activity. See

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

Have you received the DWP's evidence pack yet? This will contain a copy of all the documents used in the making of the Decision, in particular there will be a copy of the assessment report which should allow you to understand how the DWP Decision Maker made the Decision and why, you should look at this in conjunction with our guides to help you create your own submission for the hearing.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we do our best to help.
