Sometimes I will be staying with my parents when I need more support, and so I'd come and stay with them and then attend the centre.

You can request a specific assessment centre, you will need to explain why, the Assessment Provider (AP) is not required to honour this although there is no reason why they should not. One limitation that you need to be aware of is that that the AP is not meant to book appointments that would result in the claimant travelling more than 90 minutes each way, this may limit their ability to provide an alternate location.
