My Manditory reconsideration was rejected I have bilateral Ménière's disease and suffer with it to varying degrees. I am deaf in my left ear and wear an hearing aid in my right. I suffer with tinnitus, deafness and virtigo. All these fluctuate and can be brought on by varies things,
How do I best appeal this when completing the form has anyone else got Ménière's disease?
When completing the appeals form you should refer to our appeals guide in the members section.
You should work through the reports from the decision maker and HCA, thinking what points you think you should get compared to what they have scored you and use evidence to support your views. In most cases the reports throw up obvious discrepancies between what tou put on the form and supplied as evidence and their interpretation or they have put down things you definiyely didn't say at the face to face or they have omitted things you did say.
By doing this you will find all the areas where you wish to challenge their statements and decisions. Your specific conditions don't matter so much as how they affect you when related to the activities on the form.
