Does anyone known if Atos have a procedure set up where they have to reply to your letters of complaint within a certain time period?
I wasn't gong to bother complaining but I went to see a disablity rights person yesterda and she said I should because the HP at my assessment - regardless of what he's actually reported - has not followed their own policies.
I'm just trying to type yp a letter now.

I believe all your questions will be answered here
www.atoshealthcare.com/pip/feedback_pip
They will acknowledge within two working days and aim to respond within twenty.
Benefits and Work recommend that you send a copy of your complaint to your MP and make ATOS aware of this, it tends to concentrate their minds.

Thanks Foss.
That's a brilliant idea about sending the letter of complaint to the mp. I will do that.
I am going to sending a complaint to the dwp as well - not about atos but I'll cetainly include a copy of the letter I'm sending to Atos - purely because they are the ones who have caused this whole mess and I want them to be aware of how much stress they have caused. If they hadn't sent me a letter saying 'dont send a gp letter we will do that ' then they would have had plenty of medical evidence and I doubt Id even have been sent for the face to face assessment.

Hi
You are welcome.
Make sure you send a copy of the DWP letter to your MP as well. S/he should be made aware of their misleading and false statements.

It turns out that I have to eat my words. Despite the fact the DWP say dont contact your GP, they actually arent the ones who contact your GP it's Atos who are paid to do that. We looked all through the Atos website. The fault is down to them.
I've written a letter of complaint that I think proves their health practioner to be negligent and their procedures to be useless. And instead of writing a letter of complaint to the DWP I'll write them a letter saying this is a letter I've written to Atos but I have no faith that they will take any notice and no faith they will pass it on and even if they do it'll be too late so I'm asking if you can take it into consideration with my mandatory thingy.
I've also given them a list of the evidence that I took to the assessment that the HP refused to take or give attnetion to. Fair enough it's my fault that I didn't send it in in the end but the HP implied i was wasting my time and said it owuld probably hold up my claim.
Anyawy I'm going off on a tangent.
I have been told I have a strong case by disability rights worker.
