Appeal was created by Juneypuney
Hello
Who would be the better to represent you at appeal, solicitor or a member of Welfare Rights?
I am also concerned that several members of the DWP have not told the truth so what chance do people have getting their DLA reinstated?
One last comment, a member of the DWP, who was a neighbour of ours (we didn't speak and we were unaware who she worked for) held a vendetta against us and she is one of the witnesses against me!!! There is not one item of truth in her statement
If anyone can help/advise I would be eternally grateful
Thank you
J

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi J and welcome to the forum. On the assumption that you are also new to the site, this link should help you find your way around.

Few solicitors have an in depth knowledge of welfare matters. In this case, it is probably preferable to use a Welfare Rights representative if one is available. If you happen to find a solicitor who really knows Welfare laws and you can afford to pay him/her then that is a different matter.
You don't say which benefit the appeal relates to, you will find information about each in the relevant member guides.
If you have further questions, please reply to this message and we will do our best to help
