I was paced in support group because of mobility. My question is should I provide tribunal with the same evidence re mobilty thst resulted in winning esa appeal or should i get new evidence from health practioners. I was awarded no points for managing treatments this is what Iam appealing re daily living I have numerous exercises that i have to complete at least three times a day taking about half an hour each time. These exercises are very painful and my wife has to assist and encourage me to do them as they will help with improved mobilty in the future, any advice about to explain this would be gratefully accepted. Thank you.
Yes you can provide the ESA evidence for your PIP appeal, but be aware that ESA only tests your ability to walk 50m, this would only score you 8 points for PIP which is consistent with your Standard award for Mobility, if you only expect to score the extra 4 points from only the Moving Around Descriptor then you need to show that you cannot reliably walk more than 20m for the majority of days,
AS to the Managing Treatments, apart from "reliably" and "for the majority of days" you need to show that your wife's assistance is required rather than it simply being easier to do your exercises with her help, so include information about what happens when that assistance is not available.
