Responding to invite letter - DLA to PIP?

You know, I'm inclined to follow my original tack by asking my carer to phone to request the paper PIP1 (I would be present to give authority) and post a pre-written letter via special delivery on the same or next day. I'm going to get it done.

One can't be too careful when dealing with the DWP, which is one reason I do not want a PIP1 over the phone rather than on paper.
