hello mods, I will understand if you cannot answer this question, A friend has been in the above for 5 years, he is 62, has had a letter from DWP, giving him the option of going onto pension credit, instead of receiving esa he has been to CAB, not much help,
he is not sure what he should do, if he did go onto pension credit, would it mean no more esa assessments?,
His membership has run out as had mine (no email reminder), I was unaware of this for 3 months, so until I can sort his out, am asking on his behalf.
Thanks
Rapheal

It is likely that your friend would be better off on Pension Credit, but it will depend on his personal circumstances and therefore he needs to get face to face advice from a trained advisor before he makes the Decision, they will be able to calculate the amount of benefit he would receive and explain the pros and cons of either choice.
I'm afraid that the Mods cannot deal with membership issues, you need to contact the site owner about this.
