ATOP Appointment Received was created by Gopherd02
Hello all,
I have received an appointment for my PIP reassessment today but the appointment is for this coming Tuesday which is very short notice and quite inconvenient. Is it possible to rearrange?
Also I requested a home visit and they have scheduled my appointment at their assessment centre. Is it possible to have thus changed to a home visit?

Thank you in advance

The Assessment Providers(AP) are required to give 7 days written notice, however this includes postage time.

You can re-arrange once but must attend the new appointment or have your claim closed.

It is unlikely that a home assessment will be granted without a letter from your GP explaining why you cannot attend, even then it as the discretion of the AP as to whether one is given or not.
