Update: I have until Thursday 17th September to send in further information and evidence for a mandatory reconsideration.
However I am still waiting for a copy of the medical assessment notes to be sent to me.
I asked for them 2 weeks ago. I rang the DWP today and they said that they have not been sent and that they will get a case worker to ring me to discuss this. This could take up to I was also questioned as to why I need the notes.
I said that I feel I need the notes as cannot remember a lot about the assessment and need to check what questions I was asked in the mobility section.
My question is should I wait for the case worker to ring me and therefore miss my deadline or should I just go ahead and write my reasons why I felt the decsion was wrong without the assessment notes?. I do also have additional evidence from my psychiatrist and care coordinator.

Hi tw46,
I would advise that you submit your MR request to arrive back at The DWP no later than one month from the date of your Decision Notice letter, otherwise you may be asked to provide "Good Cause" for your late MR request.
You could set out all the arguments that you are aware of now, then add a footnote that you have requested copy of the documentation which has not yet arrived and will forward any other pertinent arguments that come to light as a result of receiving this as soon as you have it.
DWP "should" allow you the time to receive this documentation and provide any fresh evidence, don't "bank on it" though !!
After sending your initial MR request I would therefore forward any fresh evidence that you may have ASAP :
Sending Documents to the DWP, ATOS, Capita or Maximus.
