Yes what you say is very true.I had that said to me by DWP but the physiotherapists wrote making the similarity between someone who cannot have a bath or walk in/out of shower due to muscle weakness/pain but with assistance can tolerate hydrotherapy for hour.I agree that it is very very difficult to get DWP to acknowledge this as the descriptors are set up in such a way.I was just trying to point out that with this in writing and a hard slog with esa disability advisors it was agreed that it is similar to someone who stated cannot sit for half an hour but sits in a hospital chair for two hours having infusions.Not a good or helpful system as you know but mentioning that is the way I managed to get it accepted so there are ways.

I see this as a therapy, not just physical but emotional too. Go for it.
