backdated care alowance was created by stevie mac

just been awarded care allowance i have been on high rate care dla since 2012 asked dwp if i will get it backdated to 2012 they said they will have to look into it do you know how long it can get backdated from

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by "care allowance"?

Do you mean

- the Care component of DLA, although you seem to be already entitled to this, or

- Carers Allowance, however, you cannot be awarded CA against your own DLA, only against someone else's!
