Yes, many of our members have challenged, ATOS, Capita and Maximus regarding obtaining a Home Assessment with varying levels of success.
ATOS do seem to be the more belligerent of the three.

Contacting ATOS/PIP , they generally insist that you first obtain a letter from your G.P. supporting the fact that you need a Home Assessment giving reasons.
Even then it can be a "battle" !!
They are wrong stating that you need to be "homebound", they are supposed to make Reasonable Adjustments to all claimants who have Mobility restrictions/ limitations or problems going out due to mental health issues.
Whether it be ATOS or Capita for PIP or Maximus for ESA, the same applies.
