DLA Reassessment queries was created by digitalrace
Hello
My DLA award ends 31.10.2015 and I have been invited to renew my claim. I am planning to post the completed form at the end of September. Do you think I am leaving enough time before my claim ends or should I post it earlier than planned?
I always use signed for post when sending anything to DWP. Does the DWP take
the date (and signature) confirming receipt of my form as the date for the start my reassessment?
If my renewal claim is unsuccessful will I be paid up to 31.10.2015 or will I be paid up to time DWP assess my claim ( if the date is earlier)?
Kind Regards

When should I send my renewal form back?
It is essential that you return your forms before by the required date using a tracked post andyou confirm with the DWP that they have been received. We have had a number of members lose their DLA for failing to confirm that their forms have been received and there are limited options for appealing this.
