Any experience of DWP not using their own guides? I am agast at how many possible errors have been made..................

Do you mean the following

You don't say which benefit this is in connection with!
If DLA or AA then the information is guidance only and is not binding on the Decision Maker although they will have to justify their not following it.
If it is for PIP then as we understand it, this document is not in use.

Sorry should have said, the benefit in question was DLA, does that help in any way?

There is no reason why you cannot argue this point.
