dla/pip!!!!!! was created by nicolesnin
hi guys. I received my dla/pip letter a few weeks ago and filled it all in with plenty of evidence plus photos of my hands and feet as i have very bad psoriasis, then lo and behold i get a letter to go for a f2f in a couple of weeks. To say I'm bricking it is an understatement!! I honestly thought i had done enough to go through it without a f2f..I just don't understand why all my paperwork and photos wasn't enough for them..Has anyone else felt the same and still had to go for a f2f?
Thanks

Even though both Assessment Providers (AP) were told at the beginning of the year to increase the percentage of home assessments from about 2% to around 20%, based on comments in the forum they have not met this target.
I'm afraid, unless you can provide additional compelling information they are will not re-visit this decision.
Would your GP write a letter stating that a home assessment is required as you cannot attend at the AP's offices?

hi Gordon thanks for your reply
Sorry I dont think i worded my last post very well. It's not that I cant attend the assessment, it was more to do with the amount of stuff I sent them along with pictures and yet all that wasnt enough for them to go off. Last time they just went off paper evidence. Mind you, I did have a feeling they would send for me this time.
