I've been on ESA WRAG since November 2014 due to ongoing right intermittent foot drop and some numbness pins needles down my right. I have also developed a prolapsed disc l5s1 I can't walk more than 50 yards due to pain and my right leg gives way I have recently just come out of hospital due to pain and now developed incontinence I have been under the neurologist and had lots of tests. Since discharged I take may 30 mg gabapentin codeine venlafaxine due to panic anxiety attacks. And diazepam. I have received an appointment to attend a medical and I know I can't get there. Also I am a foster carer of 3 children one of them has severe learning needs my husband helps me get dressed and does most of the care. Anyone help if I am sent to jsa I can't work due to foster caring I have to be available.

Speak to you GP about their writing to Maximus in regard your having a home assessment.

If this is not granted and you do not attend the current appointment then a new one will be issued that you must attend or you risk having your claim closed.

Your options for claiming JS will depend on how you are found Fit for Work and whether you challenge the Decision, allowances can be made for your fostering responsibilities but may be dependant on the ages of the children.

Hi
My foster children are age 6 , 9 , 17 yr old severe learning needs and aggressive behaviour if they say I'm fit for work for jsa I won't be available for work so I won't be able too claim jsa. My daughter may be able to take me in a wheelchair, I do have a good doctor. The morphine and diazepam make me spaced out and confused. I get palpitations just thinking about going out and having yet another fall. I am still being investigated to find out what's wrong by a neurologist and since filling in the form I have more symptoms what am
I going to do am
At my wits end

I am on morphine mst and I've read somewhere about not being forced to attend a face to face medical. I was not on mst when I filled out my questionnaire do I have to go. Thank you so much for the advice on here.

I'm afraid the only way to avoid an assessment is to provide sufficient and compelling evidence that allows Maximus to a make a recommendation without one, your receiving morphine will not of itself be sufficient for this to happen.
