PIP points awards was created by timber
I have recently transferred over from DLA to PIP. The decision was to award me 11 points for the Daily Living component, which by a complete coincidence I'm sure is just 1 point short of qualifying for the higher rate! I asked for a reconsideration, which was turned down, so I have now officially Appealed as my wife and I consider I have been marked far too low and should have easily gained the higher rate.
Has anyone else scored around 10 or 11 points and felt that you were deliberately scored down in order to be denied the fair score?
May take some time, but will update on how I get on.

Juat as a PS, I made an appointment at my GP clinic to request a supporting letter for my appeal - apparently the clinics six doctors have decided on a policy of not writing letters in such cases unless DWP write to request more information! After a long discussion , my doctor agreed to write a brief letter on my behalf for a £15 fee.
I have read this sites guides comprehensively and hope this will help me get the points I deserve, thanks.
