Hi A,
We will be allowing one topic to run tomorrow on "The Budget" !
Any changes that affect DLA, PIP or ESA will be reflected in our guidance as soon as they become clear.
We do not cover Bedroom Tax, and I do not believe that any changes are predicted with that.
I am sure that Steve will be writing an article to cover The Budget in our News Section.
All members should take into account that it may be some time before the full details are clear regarding any "Headline Announcements" that Osborne may make.
"The devil will be in the detail" !!

HI bro
With the bedroom tax I heard somewhere that those of working age the tax will be increased it currently stands at 14% and 25% I think. I have read that many fear it on this site. I and many other would want to know from a good source such yourself that this percentage has changed.
Thanks

Hi A,
There has been "talk" of all working age HB recipients having to pay an extra 10% of their rents in addition to any payments due to The Bedroom Tax.
That being the the case it would affect All working age HB recipients.
Any reduction of the overall benefit cap may also have further implications on HB, as this cap actually reduces the amount of HB that you can receive.
I am sure that all "benefit" issue will be covered in a News Article, however the forum/site only provides guidance on DLA, PIP and ESA, I am not aware of any potential changes to the guidance that we offer.
As I have already stated this is all speculation until after The Budget.
The sites below provide information on HB, Bedroom Tax, etc :
