ooohiduno wrote: Hello. Just had pip decision letter. 11 point care. 4 point mobility. Going to ask for reconsideration on mobility. Do they only look at the evidence they already have or would they look at a letter i write giving more detail of my mobility problems that was left out of pip questionaire and hp assessment report . Im on nsaid.s & dmad's and low dose pain killers. Because of the low pain killers they seem to have marked me down and said iv over stated my restrictions in moving round. My joints really are bad. Can they ignore any evidence iv already given them or get and keep using the 'low pain killers' excuse against me. thanks. ;
You should be given 4 weeks to submit more evidence or to clarify any points from your original form in a letter, but you should be aware that we have had reports from other members where the DWP have not them sufficient time to do this and have made a new Decision without the additional information, so if you do intend to send something to do so as quickly as you can.

ooohiduno wrote: yes i plan to post MR letter monday then phone for MR on tuesday afternoon and tell them im sending more info. Are there rules or guides about what medication you should be taking for different conditions that the DWP & HP's use ? thanks
The DWP used to use the A-Z of Medical Conditions
www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/upl...onditions-jun-15.pdf
for DLA and AA claims, but it has not been updated for PIP and none of the PIP documentation makes reference to it, so as far as we are aware there is no medical reference document that a Decision Maker (DM) would use for PIP. You should also be aware that DMs are not medically trained so it is arguable how useful detailed medical advice would be to them.

The Decision & MR letters, Reguarding moving round/walking . They quote. 'I cant not consider the difficulties you have with uneven ground, slopes and kerbs as part of this activity'
Why is this, When the pip questionaire askes about it.
