I have applied for ESA and will be automatically be placed in either work or support group. Now will I skip the 13 week assessment period as my circumstances dictate I am entitled to ESA just a matter what group?

Based on your previous posts (in education, receiving DLA MRC), then under Regulation 33(2) as soon as a determination (decision) of Limited Capability for Work is made, so is this is done before the normal 13 week assessment period then you should be paid ESA at the full rate from then onwards.

She has processed the claim today and left a message saying payment should be in my account today... Thought it took three working days? Still have nothing and that was lunch time today.
No indication what group she has placed me in just said my claim has been processed and backdated. Payment will be in my account today.
Thanks

The legislation gives you Limited Capability or Work so you will be in the WRAG, but you will still be assessed to see whether you qualify for the Support Group.

It depends on your bank but I believe that they all process electronic transfers a couple of times a day although payments to your account tend to take longer than deductions from it. If it is not showing now, then it might in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
