I am a new member and am hoping someone can let me know as I've been reading the PIP guide to claiming and am in the process of completing the PIP form about how my disability affects me and the guide says I should of received a copy of the initial telephone call to sign but I have not received this (I've received the big form and letters chasing the form but no copy of the initial telephone call). I had to ask for an extension and have to send back the form next week so I'm rather concerned if I am meant to have received and signed a copy of the initial call because the guide says there was a time limit for this....is this correct? Have others had the copy of the initial call?
I you have received a PIP2 form to complete then this will only have happened because the DWP were happy with the information that you provided when you called to make the claim. Don't worry about not having received the PIP1 form, concentrate on getting the PIP2 form returned on time.
In regard to this, try and send the form by a tracked postage and ring the DWP a couple of days later to confirm receipt.
