Hi Mariam,
This appears to be your first post so, on the assumption that you are also new to the site, this link should help you find your way around.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
You should not have been sent an appointment for a face2face assessment without first filling in a form to explain your problems. However, in the case of ESA, these can be a year or more after the form was completed or, in some cases, without a form ESA50 having been sent at all. Things are a little more straightforward with PIP, we have not heard of people being asked to attend an assessment without first completing a form.
Are you applying for both ESA and PIP? Have you filled out the long form for each benefit? If so, then it might be down to which organisation sent the letter. ATOS and Capita are undertaking the assessments for PIP and Maximus for ESA.
Please reply to this message if/when you have further questions. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now

Hi Mariam,
I have just deleted your duplicate post. There will always be a delay before your post appears on the forum as it has to be read and approved by a moderator first. Even during the core hours of 14.00 - 15.30 and 20.00 - 21.30 this will depend on how many (voluntary) mods are on-line and how busy the forum is
