HI
Had my second F2F assessment last thursday, (this is a year before my claims end date)
This assessment was different from the last one (Oct 2014) the first 25 mins was spent going through my illnesses how long I had had them, which of my prescriptions did I take for each illness and which doc, consultant i was seeing and how often, it was all about the illness not how they affected me. I was told that my condition would be understood as they are medically trained however, my latest illness only affects around 9000 people in the uk and most GPs, nurses, docs unless endocrinologists don't know anything about it so not convinced.
The last 15 mins was questions that they had been asked to ask about four descriptors, but they kept asking what i could do on a good day and even though i kept adding points just dismissed what i said and said yes but you can do it sometimes.
Just wanted your opinion on why the assessment was so different, last time it was more about my daily life.
Also do we know how long they are taking to come back with a decision as i think others have gone through this process and lost their awards and the worry/stress does not help my conditions.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Phoenix,
As far as I am aware, the f2f for renewal should be the same, materially, as the first assessment. Do you think this was more than simply the difference between 2 people's approach?
We do have members who have been reassessed, maybe they will comment regarding how long the process took.
