Hi,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.
This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
The ESA "Group" that you are placed into ( WRAG or Support Group (SG) ) is not relevant to whether your ESA is "means tested" or not.
It is whether the ESA that you are being paid (in either group) is Income Related (IR) ESA, in part or in whole, or Contribution Based (CB) ESA.
Any entitlement to IR ESA is means-tested, CB ESA is not means tested at all.
24 hour work rule for ESA(IR) Asset rule for ESA(IR) The only "income" that may affect payments of CB ESA are Works/Occupational Pension payments to the claimant, where 50% of any excess over £85/Week of any pension is deducted from your weekly CB ESA payments.
