Dougle wrote: Do DWP always inform you by letter if you have been reassessed without a medical? Is it possible one could be reassessed and allowed to continue in the SUPPORT GROUP without being told? I have now been in The Support Group 4 years and not heard a peep STILL ! Not that I am complaining mind ,but I'd like to know if I was reassessed or something. Makes me wonder if I have misssed a letter or something because our post isnt exactly reliable.
Hi D,
We have discussed this previously Here.
You will not have been "reassessed" and kept in The SG without knowing.
It is most likely that your initial reassessment date was deferred due to the backlog.
We are starting to hear of re-assessments now !!
The only way to find out the recommended date for your re-assessment would be to phone ESA, they should have it on-screen :
THE ESA PHONE NUMBER DWP : 0345 608 8545 Press Option 3 for ESA. (Open 8AM-6PM. Mon-Fri.)

Hi D,
You do not have to go into any detail with The ESA Call Responder.
Once you have answered the security questions, NI Number, etc, you can simply ask them whether they can tell you the recommended date of your next reassessment, then leave it at that.
I have done this recently for several people who had their reassessments deferred and wanted to know when to expect their ESA50, without it instigating a reassessment "early".
The last two who had both had 4 years since their last award can expect their next ESA50's in July this year, and December next year, respectively.
As least the one with the July date can now start preparing the Pdf ESA50 in anticipation, rather than the paper ESA50 dropping through the letterbox unexpectedly.

I called the DWP this morning to ask for a reassessment date and was told," you were due to be tested at the end of Oct 13, so I would expect you should hear soon, but there is nothing on your file to indicate a date".
So still none the wiser.
