For those who will be transferred, or invited to claim PIP after their current DLA award ends. Will PIP invite letters be issued six months before the end of any DLA award, and if so, will the current DLA award still run until its end date ?

Invitations are issued 20 weeks in advance of the DLA claim ending.
Providing you make the PIP claim within the required timescales then your DLA will remain in payment until four weeks after a Decision on your PIP claim has been made.
