Decision Makers Reasoning (PIP) was created by bigcat
Received PIP decision (reconsideration)letter and a little confused with Decision Makers Reasoning part which starts off by saying DURING YOUR EXPLANATION CALL ON !3 April 2015 YOU ASKED US TO LOOK AT THE DECISION MADE ON 11 MARCH 2015. Confused because never made or received a call from them.( I do everything in writing as don't trust them one bit). Does anybody know whether they give you such a call as above for PIP please?
Wondering if they are covering their backs on paper ?

Hi bc,
Yes, The Decision Maker does sometimes ring the claimant as part of the MR process.
In your case, it may simply be a copy and paste of pre-generated phrases.

Wish they would allow f2f meetings with decsion makers, but that would never happen as they would be too fearful for their own safety, or would have to behave ethically to reduce risk of any problems.
Perhaps Im wrong, perhaps someone else can explain why they do not make a 'reasonable adjustment' for people who can only communicate face to face rather than over the phone or in writing....
