ESA Medical Assessment was created by Moonlite
i am in total shock i attended my esa medical on thursday after waiting a year on the basic money. they did give me an appointment to attend three weeks ago but cancelled that when i informed them i couldnt safely get down six flights of stairs in an emergency. they then told me i would have to attend a centre miles away and if i wasnt happy to get a letter from my doctor saying why i couldnt travel by public transport which i did and eventually with alot of fighting they agreed to send and pay for a taxi.
on thursday the assessment took two hours and was very stressful and exhausting for me.
the woman refused to take, read or copy letters from my two carers explaining what they do for me and how i am affected healthwise. she said the updated letter from my doctor ws good enough
:( i thought that was bad enough but have just tried to listen to the recording i insisted on and the cd is blank
my illness is effected by stress and this has devastated me
i have a terrible feeling they are going to say im fit for work
help

We have seen the worst of assessments result in a Support Group award and the best in a Fit for Work Decision.

ESA Decisions usually take 1-2 weeks.

Best of luck

Can you try another computer/cd player etc to check the cd is actually blank?
If it is, you should raise this as a matter of urgency imo with your MP, and also contact ATOS to lodge a formal complaint (as well as the dwp).
Worth also contacting the manufacturer of the device, off hand cannot recall their name, sure someone here can provide it, its a standard device also used by police - no way should the cd be blank, Im quite sure they would be very very interested.

Hi ken
Thank you for the reply
I wasnt sure if I should contact anyone about the blank cd just incase they dont listen to it to realise themselves hoping the decision maker would find in my favour
Haven't heard from them yet and praying for a good outcome I don't think I have the strength for a fight
