Pip assesment was created by Gillian dougherty
 I recently attended my pip assesment , I gave the assessor supporting evidence to go with my claim, he placed them in an envelope and said he'd post them off, 2 weeks later I recieved a phone call from a lady who had attended an assesment the same day and on leaving was given a form to claim travel expenses back , she threw it in her bag and forgot about it, obviously 2 weeks later she went to get form and in her envelope was my supporting eveidence, thankfully she phoned me yo let me know, she was livid that the assesor had made this big mistake and I was devastated that someone had very personal info about me, I collected my notes from the lovely lady and I have contacted asos and told them I wish to make a complaint , so far I've heard nothing back after sending an email and telephoning , anyone have any idea what I should do next, still waiting to hear the outcome of my assesment also, so feeling extremely stressed

Hi,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.

This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

As this would be a Data Protection issue covered by : The Data Protection Act 1998. you could take your complaint up with The Information Commissioners Office if ATOS have failed to respond :

ICO Complaints

You might want to contact ATOS once more with the threat of a complaint to The ICO.

Have you ensured that the supporting evidence has been sent to The PIP Decision Maker ? (Case Manager)

If not, you may wish to post copy of it to them at the address of the DWP office dealing with your PIP, ASAP with a covering letter !

Sending Documents to the DWP.
