PIP was created by weasley
Is there any truth that Motability are taking back hundreds of cars every week since PIP was introduced, because people have lost their benefit, or it has been reduced?

The criteria for an Enhanced rate mobility award under PIP are far more strict than those under DLA so it is reasonable to assume that this is resulting in reduced or removed awards for many claimants with an on-going impact to Motability claims.
The latest PIP statistics (see following) do not include any specific details of how DLA claimants are being affected but do suggest that the DWP is on target to reduce the Disability budget by at least 20%.

Hi Cfm,
Unfortunately quite a lot of claimants who were previously in receipt of a High Rate fixed term Mobility DLA Award have lost their entitlement to lease a car from Motability as they have failed to secure an Enhanced Rate Mobility PIP Award when being reviewed under PIP.
We expect to see the number of such claimants greatly increase when all DLA recipients with Indefinite HR Mobility DLA Awards begin the transfer to PIP after October 2015.

If(when I eventually transfer from DLA HRM to PIP) I am not awarded Enhanced Rate Mobility then not only do I lose my adapted car
and more than likely my job
but I would feel that the DWP are treating me like a complete fraud, and that would really hurt
