mobility car and DLA

Hiya one and all.

As we are all aware those in DLA who have an Indefinate/Life award are due to be notified in/from October 2015 to apply for PIP.!!!!!!

My mobility car is due for a change after its 3 yrs time span in September this year.

1. Will they be contacting us lot during October or after October 2015 ?
2. Shall I have a problem in changing my vehicle in September or shall I go ahead?
3. Has motobility been notified re the new changes that may cause difficulties?

Or perhaps I am panicking as I understand it will be on 'an as they feel like it' notification to one and all who fit in this category.

As I knew I was not the only person querying the beginning of PIP, as there is so far conflicting advice on it being one of 'in October, from October end of October 2015' for those on life/indefinate awards.
Most are aware that there has been notification re leases for mobility cars of at least a minimium of 6 months before renewal of DLA/PIP, however with no one having a clue what the govt intend to do re PIP and Indefinates/Life awards for when October looms.

So a watch this space continues.

Being invited to claim PIP "sometime after October 2015" running until October 2017 is relevant to current DLA recipients with Life/Indefinite Awards who were below 65 years of age on 08/04/13.
