Will that Prognosis be strictly adhered to, or would I just be able to continue providing "Fit" notes until Im actually able to work again, which will be a great deal longer than the 3 months stated. In other words Im not disputing the actual WRAG decision, but the likely length of time that I will be eligible for it. Sorry if its a bit garbled, I was really rattled when I first read the report.
If it is just the prognosis or re-assessment date that you are concerned about then I am afraid this is not part of the Decision and cannot be challenged either at MR or appeal.
It is just a guide to when the DWP might re-assess you, they can do so at any time after three months have elapsed since the Decision was made.

Thanks for that Gordon, in my mixed up state I never even gave thought to the fact that they could carry out a re-assessment when the 3 months is up! So thanks again for putting my mind at rest, I can concentrate on getting surgery-ready and deal with DWP as and when they wish to contact me.
