A DAFT QUESTION!

I'm sorry to ask what is probably a really dumb question, but here goes...
I have received my decision letter, and haven't been awarded PIP. I disagree with the decision, and want to ask for an MC. My question is, do I just send a basic letter at this stage, asking for the decision to be looked at again, or do I send a letter with all of my objections and reasons I think the descriptors apply to me etc?
Thank you
A

Hi A,
Firstly, I will refer you back to my post : Here.
It is important that you register your M.R. within the one month deadline, so if you do not have time to include any comments or evidence that you wish to submit by that time, I would make it absolutely clear that you are formally requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration of the the adverse decision, including as much evidence that you can at that time.
This will protect your right to request an MR !
You can comment in the letter that you are going to provide further evidence as soon as you have it.
You should have at leasts 4 weeks from them receiving the MR, but I would advise that you present all your points/evidence ASAP, as we have heard from members where their MR has been turned around very quickly.
Sometimes, they have not been given the time to present a full argument against the adverse decision :
Sending Documents to the DWP.

Hi A,
Yes, neither the DWP, ATOS, Capita or Maximus will make allowances for Bank Holidays and the lack of the postal service.
They still expect documents to be back with them by the close of business on any deadline day.
