ESA reassessment cancelled

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, I had an ESA Reassessment appointment date from ATOS for this month but I did not receive a ESA50 form to fill in with the letter, I sent in up to date information to both DWP and ATOS which would have got to them two days before hand, when I got to the assessment centre I was told that my name was not on the daily appointment sheet and that my appointment had been cancelled. The man in front of me was also told the same thing.

Unfortunately, this has happened to many claimants, mainly because ATOS tend to double and triple book appointment slots.

Have many of the people who this has happened to recently had another appointment sent out promptly? Also still finding it a strange policy that there was no ESA50 form sent out with the last appointment? The woman in the reassessment centre said there was nothing on the system saying I would be called up again soon but I do not trust those people, they just want you to go away quietly without a fuss.

I guess the question on everyones lips, given the recent confusion surrounding reassesments is was this reassesment on your expected reassesment date... from the timescale on your last esa 85 (a) or were you expecting review before the deferals began in January 2014 and perhaps its been sitting in the pipeline since? Interestingly, this issue of being called in without any ESA 50 being sent looks to be cropping up more and more now and does not seem so isolated

I wonder if this issue of no esa 50 being sent is due to confusion during the handover from atos to maximus? Seems to be cropping up a lot.
