Regarding the email I received back from maximus ,will this be email be enough proof of requesting the recording .
I also asked if I could take an updated ESA 50 with me to my assessment and they replied yes I can ask the hcp to place this on file for the decision makers attention do you think it would be better if I post this to the decision maker myself at the dwp office that deals with my claim .

Hi mm,
As it is Maximus's responsibility to provide recording facilities at the F2F, you do not have to involve the DWP regarding that.
I would print off a copy of the e-mail and take it with you as proof that it has been authorised.
I would take a copy of The ESA50 to The F2F and hand it to the assessor before the start of the "medical".
They are supposed to read through it before the "medical" starts.
Yes, you could also send a copy :
FAO : The ESA Decision Maker at the address of the Benefits Office/Centre on your most recent ESA letter :
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
If you haven't already done so, have a read through : ESA Medical – What to expect
Good luck, and please keep us updated !
