DLA, was created by Neil
Hello
My name is Neil and I have been a member for over a year and this is my first posting.
I require some help/advice.
I receive DLA, If I were to ask for a change of circumstances due to a deterioration in my health and an increase in the help I need. My question is this, will I still receive DLA or will I be asked to complete an application for PIP?.
Please bear in mind that the area I live in is not one that has begun the transfer to PIP for those that are already in receipt of DLA.
In anticipation
Neil

Hi N,
Welcome to the forum !!
If you are not in an : Active PIP Postcode Area, and reported a C of C to DLA you would be reviewed under existing DLA criteria.
This being the case, any change in your DLA award would be active from the date that you reported the C of C.
If you live in an Active PIP Postcode Area, and report a C of C to DLA, the review would be carried out under PIP qualifying criteria.
This being the case, you would continue to receive your current DLA award payments until 4 weeks after the date that the PIP decision was made.
Mods are logging off for the night now, so if you have any further queries, you can post them now, but they will not be approved and responded to until tomorrow afternoon.
