Re-assesment was created by Mr Kim Catherall
At long last I have a date, 3rd March, for another assessment to see if I qualify for the Support Group.
I have not been asked/sent another IB50, is that in order?
Will the assessment take the same format as the one I had for the ESA?

I did see something about preparing yourself for this event, but can't find it now. Can you please direct.
Thank you.

Hi K,

Did you report a worsening of your condition, or was this reassessment initiated by DWP? Either way, I would have expected you to have been asked to complete an ESA50 beforehand. However, we have had a few members recently who have been sent an appointment for a face2face assessment without first being sent an ESA50. If you wish, and have time, you could print off a form and submit it before your assessment, or take it with you and ask the HCP to red it before carrying out the assessment.

Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire

It was initiated because of a worsening of my condition.

I suppose DWP could argue that you sent in enough information that they do not need an ESA50. If you think it would help, you still have the option of using the PDF version and taking it with you +/- send it in to ATOS and DWP.

That could well be the case. Also, they would have my tribunal appeal decision, would that be taken into account.

You should always act as if DWP have zero prior knowledge of your situation.
