Regarding 'pip moving around' descriptor was created by Chlorinated
This refers to the physical activity of moving.

1.Can somebody who suffers from fatigue(regardless of weather the root cause is physical or psychiatric) when walking still score point? I believe in the esa doc I read that physical diagnoses can get point for physical descriptors only.

2. With Dla, I remember that on your guide there were many requirements in order to get higher mobility on mental ground e.g. the must have learning difficulties, be on the higher rate of care, endanger themselves outside. Do similar stringent requiremnets apply here or can somebody with mentally induced fatigue score as easily with somebody with physically induced fatigue all other factors being constant?

Thanks

You have attempted to draw conclusions in regard to one benefit by referencing content from another in several of your previous posts and you do so again in this, you cannot make these assumptions even in regard to DLA and its replacement PIP. Each benefit defines the assessment criteria explicitly in the legislation for it, so just because ESA limits the scoring for the physical Descriptors to physical problems, this does not mean that PIP does.

1. PIP activities must be done reliably, so if fatigue limits your ability to walk then this would be a valid reason for you to state that the distance you can walk without fatigue.

2. The Enhanced Rate for PIP (either Daily Living or Mobility), will be awarded because you have scored 12 or more points across the relevant Descriptors not because you have met specific criteria, this is a change from DLA.

Hi Amonia
I'll let the forum know. I have a F2F PIP at home on 20th, allegedly! I've had CFS/ ME for 30+ years plus now paroxysmal vertigo ergo my application. It's hard work but the B&W PIP guidance makes it easy to understand. I cannot stress enough Gordon's use of the word reliably. So you need to emphasise worst day possible. Keep an eye out I plan to share the experience. Searcher
