DLA to PIP at 65 was created by Den
I was awarded DLA for life quite a few years back and when I was moved to ESA last year they said they would review my DLA when I am 65 in July 2015, But from what I can understand you should apply for PIP before age 65, Should I already have applied or can I still get PIP when I am assessed at age 65 ? Thanks.

Hi Den,

People who were under 65 when the PIP regulations came into effect will be 'invited' to claim PIP at some stage, even though you will be over 65 by then. Don't worry, you don't need to do anything yet. Claimants with indefinite awards will be contacted some time after Oct 2015 but we cannot say exactly when.
