Providing you meet the dates for claiming PIP and returning for your form then your DLA should remain in payment until four weeks after a Decision on your PIP claim is made, even if this exceeds the date that you DLA claim would normally end.

I am not sure that it would be as the test is your ability to make a meal for yourself (although this is not specifically stated).

From your post, you suggest that you only wear them when preparing food for others, not for yourself, you might want to have a think about what differentiates the two (if this is the case), doing so may help you to explain your problem in this area in more detail.

I am afraid that this is not good advice at all, most of the high profile benefit fraud cases of recent years are the result of claimants only detailing their problems on a bad day!

Claimants need to provide a range of information based on how they are at their worst, how they are for the majority of the time and how they are at there best, with clear indications of the periods that they are affected.
