Thanks both of you. I hadnt realised that, I was working on the assumption that change of circs were to lead to pip process nationwide rather than dla being re assessed. Regardless, I am not in a pip postcode currently so it's plod on regardless. Thanks again.

Hi
Could anyone help.
I'm on DLA and live in SK postcode. I've looked at the postcode map.
I think I am right to assume that I will be invited to claim for PIP anytime between Oct 2015 and Oct 2017. Could anyone confirm - is this correct?
John

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
This information is subject to change so you should check back regularly in the forum.
If you have an indefinite award for DLA, then under the current plan you should not be asked to claim PIP before October of this year, this is currently irrelevant of your postcode, it may be later than this as invites will be made on a random basis.
If your DLA is a fixed term award and your postcode is active approximately 20 weeks in advance of the award renewing (there are regular updates to the list), then I would expect you to be invited to claim PIP.
If the postcode is not active 20 weeks in advance of it renewing then you should receive a DLA renewal.
I hope that this explains it.

Hi B,
The Government have stated that all current DLA recipients with Indefinite Awards will be invited to claim PIP "Sometime after October 2015" running until 2018.
However, there are huge backlogs, and we have a General Election in May !!
